The artisanal sector in Ecuador is essential to the country’s economy and culture. However, the lack of systematized information about artisanal certifications makes their analysis challenging. To address this, the objective is to analyze trends and disparities in these certifications between 2020 and 2024 through an interactive Big Data-based dashboard. This tool will provide dynamic visualizations to enhance decision-making in the sector, representing a significant advancement in data management and analysis. The theories and conceptual models underpinning this study include Big Data approaches, predictive analytics, and data visualization. Variables such as demographic, geographic, and certification-specific characteristics are considered to understand their influence on access to and distribution of certifications in the artisanal sector. A quantitative, descriptive, and exploratory approach based on positivist epistemology is adopted. The hypothesis is that "an interactive Big Data-based dashboard will analyze trends in artisanal certifications." Techniques of processing, visualization, and predictive analysis using census data are employed. The expected results include identifying trends in artisanal certifications, detecting geographic disparities, and generating interactive reports that facilitate decision-making to improve the sector.
