Incorporating the digital portfolio in basic education to reflect on and improve teaching practice

This research work is based on the importance of the use of the digital portfolio as a resource to strengthen the reflective teaching practice in primary education, with the aim of improving the teaching-learning processes, three important aspects and their correlation are included: the reflective practice to strengthen the teaching task, the use of information and communication technologies to generate competencies and skills that are aimed at global educational development and the model of the New Mexican School, which is where the proposals aimed at meeting the objectives of national policies are based today. It is proposed from a paradigm with a quantitative approach in the context of the José Vasconcelos elementary school of the public sector in the city of Pachuca de Soto, state of Hidalgo, Mexico; where a diagnostic instrument is carried out, with a virtual questionnaire of closed questions, to analyze the panorama of the teachers who work there, and according to the results obtained an intervention proposal is presented with the approach of a workshop course called Encouraging teacher reflection through the digital teaching portfolio.
