This study aims to evaluate the economic behavior of employees in the Metropolitan District of Quito using a quantitative approach and a cross-sectional design. The Test HAT was administered to assess dimensions such as consumption and savings habits, risk propensity, and analytical capacity, which were subsequently integrated with the AHP method to weight criteria and classify participants into three profiles: conservative, moderate, and risky. The results revealed that most staff exhibit a conservative profile associated with a high aversion to risk, with significant differences observed across demographic variables. The findings provide a basis for improving personal and professional financial management within organizations.
