The aim of this article is to propose a series of educational guidance workshops to transform lifestyles in the families of children attending the Guagua Centro Carcelén Mágico. In this community of the Metropolitan District of Quito, a survey was applied that resulted in the existence of harmful behaviors and habits in some families of children attending the Guagua Centro Carcelén Magico. The workshops were chosen as a form of organization of the teaching since they have a dynamic character, in addition, they allow the student to participate actively in the production of knowledge from their own experiences.
