The objective of this article is the design of a methodology that allows planning in the medium term and in launching the annual and operational plans for a freight transport operations company. To do this, the design of a transport operations master plan is executed, following the hierarchical line of operations management. This plan serves as an anticipation of quality and capacity problems that allow for better relations with customers, as well as increasing the efficient use of means of transport. In addition, based on this monthly master plan, the operational plan is established in advance, which allows planning in advance and achieving better coordination between the freight transport provider and its customers to improve efficiency in transfers and cargo exchange.
