The demands placed on the teaching profession have had a significant impact on educators, with persistent and increasingly intense pressures over the years contributing to a progressive deterioration in their well-being. Burnout syndrome, or professional burnout, is characterized by physical and emotional exhaustion resulting from excessive workload, stress associated with dealing with the situations encountered daily in the classroom, and a lack of guidance on how to manage such situations effectively. These factors can have alarming repercussions on educators daily lives. The present study is based on a qualitative research approach that examines the real-life testimonies of individuals who share their experiences and describe how they cope with the obstacles they encounter, including frustration, helplessness, stress, emotional exhaustion, and anxiety. Mental health is an area that should be given priority; however, responsibility for promoting it does not lie solely with educators, but also with all those who are part of their professional and social environment. Therefore, the study suggests the development of supportive environments that provide teachers with guidance and assistance, with the aim of safeguarding their socio-emotional well-being and creating healthy and safe spaces in which they can perform their professional duties and develop personally.
