The article analyzes the importance of stimulating language development in children aged two to three years, highlighting that this stage represents a fundamental period for cognitive, social, and emotional growth. The research was conducted at the “La Cadena” Child Development Center with a sample of twenty children and four educators, using a qualitative, descriptive, and field-based approach. Direct observation and semi-structured interviews were employed to assess verbal skills, comprehension, listening, and attention. The results revealed greater progress in verbal abilities, particularly in vocabulary acquisition and the construction of simple sentences; however, difficulties related to comprehension, attention, and active listening were also identified. Likewise, the study confirmed that playful activities such as storytelling, songs, role-playing games, and guided conversations significantly promote children’s language development. The findings also emphasize the essential role of the family in language stimulation through daily interaction, affective communication, and shared reading. As an intervention proposal, the program “Living Language” is presented, aimed at strengthening oral language through playful strategies and the active participation of teachers and families. The study concludes that language development requires a comprehensive approach that integrates early stimulation, family support, and differentiated pedagogical strategies.
