Analyzing and reflecting on the contributions of Freire's thought to legal education can be of paramount importance to those interested in the challenge of integrating it into preparatory training. This paper presents a study of Paulo Freire's contributions to education as a social phenomenon, specifically as they relate to legal education within the preparatory training of technologists in Traffic Planning and Management. This study addresses the deficiencies students exhibit in their understanding of the legal norms that regulate professional relationships, rights, duties, obligations, citizen guarantees, and powers in traffic planning and management. The objective is to identify criteria from Freire's thought that contribute to legal education and guide preparatory training. The study of Freire's inquiries, contributions, and critical reflection on education has allowed for the reconstruction of ideas and representations that enrich the theoretical and methodological foundations of the process of integrating legal education. Among the scientific methods used, the analytical-synthetic and inductive-deductive methods, document analysis, and the systematization of practice stand out, making their practical application relevant and necessary for the development of contemporary society.
