This study analyzes family guidance as a support strategy for multisensory stimulation in a three-year-old child with autism spectrum disorder (ASD), from a qualitative case study approach. Brain plasticity in early childhood is recognized as a window of opportunity for early intervention, highlighting the role of visual, auditory, tactile, and vestibular stimuli in sensory, cognitive, and socioemotional development. Through direct observation, interviews, and a diagnostic survey, advances were identified in sensory tolerance, eye contact, and communicative development, associated with individualized multisensory strategies. The results confirm that the active and guided participation of the family constitutes a determining factor in the continuity and effectiveness of the therapeutic process. It is concluded that multisensory stimulation, accompanied by structured family guidance, promotes the integral development of children with ASD.
