University Social Responsibility constitutes a strategic axis that connects the ethical, academic, and social commitment of higher education institutions with the needs of society through their substantive functions and institutional management processes. The purpose of this study was to analyze the perception of University Social Responsibility from the perspective of students enrolled in the Bachelor of Education Sciences program at the Autonomous University of the State of Hidalgo. The research was developed through a qualitative case study approach using semi-structured interviews conducted with graduates of the institution. The most significant findings revealed that, although University Social Responsibility is recognized as part of the institutional principles of the university, its practical implementation still presents important limitations. The graduates demonstrated only partial knowledge regarding the scope of University Social Responsibility in areas such as teaching, research, and university outreach, as well as limited participation in community-based projects and insufficient awareness of institutional management processes related to social responsibility. These findings highlight the need to strengthen educational and participatory strategies aimed at consolidating a university culture more strongly committed to social development and institutional sustainability.
