This article presents a proposal aimed at transforming the educational process in the secondary Educational Units of the Armed Forces of Ecuador through the systematization of theoretical and practical foundations related to educational Kairos. The objective was to systematize ideas regarding this pedagogical approach in order to identify its current status, main challenges, and development prospects, with the purpose of strengthening the quality of the teaching-learning process by articulating theory and practice. A qualitative methodology was employed, supported by theoretical methods, including analysis-synthesis, induction-deduction, and systematization, complemented by documentary review as an empirical method. These procedures enabled the exploration, analysis, and critical interpretation of the specialized literature, facilitating the identification of patterns, strengths, and limitations of the approach under study. The findings revealed that the integration of theoretical and practical aspects provides an opportunity to promote collaborative work, pedagogical innovation, and the transformation of traditional educational practices, fostering more flexible and context-sensitive teaching processes. Furthermore, the main challenges identified include strengthening teachers' theoretical and practical professional development, consolidating the incorporation of educational innovation, and developing a proposal grounded in pedagogical coherence as the guiding principle of the educational process. It is concluded that the systematization carried out provides a solid foundation for promoting innovative practices aimed at improving the educational process in the institutions analyzed, fostering higher-quality education that responds to contemporary demands and to the educational needs of the Educational Units of the Armed Forces of Ecuador.
