Oral soft tissue lesions, whether benign or malignant, present diagnostic and therapeutic challenges in clinical dental practice. This literature review critically examines surgical and pharmacological interventions employed in the management of these conditions, assessing their efficacy, indications, and limitations. Scientific databases such as PubMed, Scopus, and SciELO were consulted, prioritizing recent studies with high methodological quality. Findings highlight the importance of a multidisciplinary approach that combines precise surgical excision with the rational use of pharmacological agents, including antibiotics, corticosteroids, and immunomodulators, depending on the lesion’s type and aggressiveness. Furthermore, the review emphasizes the need to tailor treatment plans based on each patient’s clinical and systemic characteristics to optimize functional and aesthetic outcomes. Regular clinical follow-up and early detection are essential strategies for preventing recurrences and improving prognosis.
