Estimados lectores:
El Consejo Editorial de la Revista Metropolitana de Ciencias Aplicadas (REMCA), se complace en presentarles el volumen 8, número 3, del año 2025. Es un momento para tener en cuenta la importancia de las soluciones innovadoras y sus retos ante un escenario cambiante. La sociedad actual reconoce que la innovación y el emprendimiento son los retos clave para la economía moderna, para alcanzar el bienestar social y la sostenibilidad.
Al reflexionar sobre este tema se debe tener presente que la innovación genera nuevos productos, servicios y procesos que aumentan la productividad y eficiencia. También influye en el emprendimiento con la creación de nuevas empresas que dinamizan los mercados, generan empleo y estimulan la competencia.
Muchos emprendedores e innovadores hoy buscan soluciones a desafíos globales, como el cambio climático, la pobreza, el acceso a la salud y la educación. Se promueven, además, modelos de negocio sostenibles (como la economía circular o las empresas B) que equilibran el beneficio económico con el impacto social y ambiental.
De esta forma la innovación se convierte en el principal eje articulador de todo proceso de crecimiento social. Lo cual conlleva a que todos los factores sociales como: universidades, gobierno y empresa puedan actuar bajo principios innovadores que potencien la productividad y el crecimiento social.
Es muy importante para el Consejo Editorial de la Revista Metropolitana de Ciencias Aplicadas agradecer a los autores de los diferentes países y a los revisores por sus aportaciones con la publicación de este monográfico. Los exhortamos a todos a hacer ciencia y aplicar todos los conocimientos socializados en este número.
