Cerebrovascular disease is a rising global health problem, and Cuba exhibits high annual incidence rates, which negatively impact the community's health status. The study aimed to develop educational actions to enhance the level of information about cerebrovascular disease risk factors among adult patients at Family Medical Office No.13, "Dr. Faustino Pérez Hernández" Teaching Polyclinic, Taguasco, Sancti Spíritus, during the period from September 2020 to June 2023. The population and sample were coincident and consisted of 156 adult patients. Sociodemographic variables, risk factors, cholesterol and TAG values, level of information, and effectiveness of the proposed activities were considered. Theoretical, empirical, and statistical methods were used. Information was collected through the review of individual and family medical histories and surveys. The predominant age group was 60-69 years, male, white race, completed secondary education, and retired occupation. The relevant risk factors were hypertension as the main factor, smoking, and diabetes mellitus. Elevated cholesterol and TAG values prevailed. The general level of information was inadequate before the intervention; after the intervention, 92,9 % presented adequate levels, demonstrating its effectiveness.
