Impacts of urban hills: an irreversible environmental transformation

The article describes the accelerated growth of human settlements in the hills, hills and slopes that have transformed the ecological role of what was previously forests, by unplanned urban infrastructure whose impacts are economic, social but above all environmental that unbalance the ecosystem natural, increasing vulnerability to threats of natural origin such as stream overflows, floods among others.
