Athletics training allows the development of conditional physical capacities, influences the mastery of skills and their effectiveness in play and competition. For this reason, it is essential to develop conditional physical capacities in childhood and adolescence. In this process of sports initiation, the development of conditional physical capacities plays a fundamental role in the training of future athletes, as well as in their physical performance. Therefore, an investigation was carried out in which it was motivated to strengthen the conditional physical capacities in a group that trains athletics in the University Gymnasium, which are made up of a population of 21 subjects, children and adolescents of both sexes, with ages of 6 to 15 years, who worked for 4 months for 5 days a week. The verification raised in this research, when applying an exercise program for the effectiveness of athletic training in conditional physical capacities, there were significant differences between the results of the second test compared to the first in the categories of speed, abdominals, squats and throwing ball. This makes it possible to ensure that the applied program was successful and that the values of the second test were improved in relation to the first and that the alternative hypothesis is accepted that a program of athletic training exercises facilitates the improvement of conditional physical capacities.
