Latin America currently faces a complex migration landscape, characterized by significant flows of people seeking improved living conditions and safety. The region is marked by diverse political, economic, and social contexts that influence the capacity of states to guarantee the human rights protection of migrants. International attention and regional organizations have proposed cooperation frameworks and policies aimed at strengthening humanitarian assistance, social inclusion, and legal security. However, the implementation of these policies is constrained by structural inequalities, labor informality, and the lack of effective monitoring and evaluation mechanisms. Key challenges include protection against violence, discrimination, labor exploitation, and limited access to basic services such as healthcare and education. Furthermore, coordination among countries of origin, transit, and destination remains insufficient to ensure uniform human rights standards. This context highlights the necessity of comprehensive strategies that combine national actions with international cooperation, promoting sustainable solutions that respect human dignity. The study emphasizes that successful approaches require community participation, institutional strengthening, and genuine political commitment to transform normative frameworks and everyday practices in migration governance.
