Continuous training and professional development of the nursing graduate. Challenges

The annual analyzes of postgraduate activity allow observing possible changes and planning their future development to improve the generation of knowledge in nursing professionals, which is why the professional improvement activities are planned and executed in such a way that the expected results are achieved with minimum expenditure of time, movement and human, material and financial resources. The objective is to design a strategy for continuous training and professional improvement in the Nursing career at the University of Medical Sciences of Cienfuegos. Theoretical and empirical methods were used for the design of the strategy. The strategy is designed taking into account different moments for continuous training and professional improvement, it is a work tool elaborated on the basis of the systemic nature of professional improvement, which is permanent, continuous, active and developer, guiding the use of the different organizational forms of the postgraduate.
