The Higher Education subsystem in Angola is currently experiencing a new stage of considerable changes, tending to place it in the place that the country and modern times demand. The work points to the relevance of inter-university cooperation and proposes the theoretical and contextual bases for the creation of the Angolan Space for Inter-University Cooperation (EACIU), aiming to stimulate scientific and technological exchange between Universities and other Public Higher Education Institutions in the Higher Education subsystem of Angola. Based on a basically bibliographic approach, and in accordance with the objective of the work, a theoretical model is proposed for the design of an Angolan Space for Interuniversity Cooperation.
