Sistema de gestión de los inventarios en la fábrica de Pastas Alimenticias Cienfuegos

Resumen

La presente investigación se realiza en la fábrica de Pastas Alimenticias Cienfuegos y tiene como objetivo el diseño de un Sistema de Gestión de Inventario que responda de manera apropiada a las necesidades y requerimientos de los clientes. Los niveles de servicio calculados demostraron que los clientes no son servidos en tiempo, que existe un atraso promedio de tres días en la entrega, y el tiempo promedio de respuesta de 10 días. Se logra diseñar y probar un sistema de inventarios Min Max, que responde adecuadamente a las características de la demanda. Se vincula tanto al producto terminado como a la materia prima y se logra reducir el ciclo de entrega a solamente el tiempo de transportación a la vez que se logra una reducción de los costos de inventarios.

ABSTRACT

The present investigation is carried out in the Cienfuegos factory of Pasta and its objective is the design of an Inventory Management System that responds appropriately to the needs and requirements of the clients. The calculated service levels showed that customers are not served on time, that there is an average delay of three days in delivery, and the average response time of 10 days. It is possible to design and test a Min Max inventory system, which responds adequately to the characteristics of the demand. It is linked both to the finished product and to the raw material and it is possible to reduce the delivery cycle to only the transportation time while achieving a reduction in inventory costs.
